Welcome
to Sea Trek's Alaska, in the expansive Tongass National
Forest of Southeast Alaska's Inside Passage. Our adventure
begins when we fly into tiny Petersburg on Mitkof
Island, 880 miles south of Juneau.
We paddle through glorious,
untouched wilderness where we hear the thunder of
calving icebergs and the awesome blows of the humpback
whale.

Heavily coated nylon (non-breathable)
rainwear works best. If you prefer Gortex,
only very high quality Gortex works
well on extended tours in Alaska. |
|
| **
All long underwear needs to be some
type of polyester (capilene, polypropylene,
lifa, etc.) Cotton does not work well. |
