Sea
Trek offers a variety of academic and retreat
program opportunities ranging in time, educational
concentration, and kayaking skill development.
Progam lengths vary from 3 hours to multiday
expeditions. Outdoor classroom locations include
Angel Island, Sauslaito, Point Reyes, Alaska,
Hawaii and Baja.
Sea Trek's educaiton directors will work with
you to design a course to meet your group's
goals. |
Academic
Progams
Deepen classroom learning through exploration,
hands on experience, group process and reflextion.
Learning transfers from the outdoor classroom
to school and into students personal lives as
connections are made between educational concepts,
the natural world and personal experience. Creating
links between educational concepts and the natural
world, students engage in comprehensive learning
through inquiry, obsesvation and interdisciplinary
activities.

Boy, Girl Scout Programs/Indian Guides and Princesses
Sea
Trek works with numerous troops and parent/child
groups throughout the Bay area to provide opportunities
to complete merit badges and experience the outdoors
as a team. The Indian Guides and Princesses have
utilized Sea Trek to create bonds between parent
and child that are irreplaceable. Sea Trek can
create a program that is accessable for children
and parents of all abilities to explore together
as a team.

Retreat Progams
Kayaking
is a perfect way to bring students together, build
confidence and break down cliques. Positive communicaiton
deepens as students work together, celebrate successes,
and enjoy each other in a new environment. Students
return reinvigorated and inspired to learn and
be challenged.
