Welcome to Sea Trek- we're delighted you've chosen to join us. Sea Trek has a reputation for making sea kayaking easy and fun, and we try hard to anticipate your needs. Here are suggestions for clothing and other items you should bring. Please don't hesitate to call us, or to ask your nstructor when you arrive, about what you have brought and what would be best to use.

We provide all the kayaking equipment you'll need including a sleeveless wetsuit, PFD (lifejacket) and paddle jacket. For classes held away from Sausalito, we will ask for your height & weight in order to bring the correct size wetsuit and PFD. For kayak surf classes we also provide helmets.
You should bring:

-- a bathing suit
-- a top to wear under the wetsuit of capilene, polypropylene, other synthetic or     wool (we have a limited supply if you don't have your own)
-- footwear such as neoprene booties, old tennis shoes or Teva-type sandals     with or without wool socks
-- bike gloves(blister protection) if possible
-- hat or visor, sunscreen and sunglasses (with retention straps)
-- your lunch
-- a plastic water bottle with water, snack bars
-- a towel and a change of clothes for traveling home.
--extra layers for warmth during lunch break

Remember the retention strap for your hat and (sun)glasses!

P.S. We hope you have an incredible experience. Gratuities are not included in the class costs, but customers have asked us for some guidelines. If you want to show your appreciation to your instructor with a tip. $5-10 per student is the norm.

Thanks again for choosing Sea Trek, and happy paddling!
