FROM THE NORTH: Take the last exit before getting onto the Golden Gate Bridge (stay in the right hand lane as you approach the Bridge). Take a left at the stop sign and an immediate right going up the hill into the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Continue up the hill, take a right and go downhill. Take a left at the stopsign. Go through the valley and take your second left (the first left is a one-way road going the wrong way). Watch for oncoming traffic which doesn't have a stop sign. Follow the road up and to your right going past the Visitor Center and the old Nike Missile Base on your right. Continue staying to your right and following signs to the Lighthouse. The YMCA is to your right. Pull into the parking lot. The classroom will be in the Kiwanis room which is on the north side of the lot next to the Business Office.

FROM THE SOUTH: Take the first exit (Alexander Ave) north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Continue downhill, take your first left to the one-way tunnel. There is a 5-minute light. Relax and wait for the light to change. Go straight through the valley, watch out for the speed bumps. Take the second left past the horse stables (the first left is a one way going the wrong way). Watch for oncoming traffic which doesn't have a stop sign. Follow the road up and to your right going past the Visitor Center and the old Nike Missile Base on your right. Continue staying to your right and following signs to the Lighthouse. The YMCA is to your right. Pull into the parking lot. The classroom will be in the Kiwanis room which is on the north side of the lot next to the Business Office.
