Experience the magic of Sausalito’s Lighted-Boat Parade and fireworks display from a kayak on the water! Starting at 5:00 pm, enjoy the illuminated boat parade, followed by fireworks at 7:15 pm. Our experienced guides will cover sea kayaking basics as you paddle along the scenic Sausalito waterfront, passing the famous houseboat community and spotting resident harbor seals and local wildlife. Marvel at stunning views of the San Francisco skyline with the glow of the lighted boat parade.

We’ll start from our Bay Model location, where our guides will provide a basic sea kayaking lesson and make sure you’re outfitted with spray skirts, windbreakers, and life jackets for a safe, comfortable paddle. You’ll paddle in a double sea kayak so invite a partner. No specific experience needed except for being physically active.
We’ll set out along Sausalito’s waterfront, aglow with lights and full of nighttime charm.
As we paddle, the setting sun will gradually be replaced by the rise of the full moon, and you’ll have time to take in the vibrant houseboat community, home to many who live on the water. We’ll gather our boats under the moonlight, where we can enjoy the procession of lighted boats and the fireworks show!
