Overview
This workshop is designed to help you fine-tune your stroke and make it more efficient and intentional, bringing awareness to where you might need to slightly modify the stroke to find spots where you might be losing power. Here’s some of what we’ll cover:
On Land
- We’ll discuss boat and blade fitting. Posture. Injury prevention.
- Forward stroke tuning. Focusing on timing and efficient muscle recruitment.
- Discuss footboard set-up, gentle bend in knees to keep center of gravity low with room to still rotate fully.
- Other things may come up!
On the Water
- We’ll practice timing, force appliance, and recovery. We’ll also go over remounts and bracing and use of your boat to control it in addition to rudder.
- More things may come up!
