A MOONLIT PADDLE ALONG ALAMEDA’S WATERFRONT
We paddle from our Ballena Bay Harbor location, starting with a basic lesson and equipping everyone with windbreakers and life jackets. We paddle double kayaks, or can offer stable single kayaks to a paddler coming on your own.
As the sun sets and the moon rises, take a moment to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Bay at night. Weather-permitting, we’ll paddle around Ballena Bay island where many people make their home along the water. With the moon rising above the mountains, we’ll bring our boats together and enjoy the sparkling San Francisco skyline, and the silvery moonlight in the wake of our kayaks.
The Full Moon Paddle runs at different times, depending on when the moon is full or close to full, and what time the sun begins to set. Book your reservation through this website, or by calling (415) 332-8494.
