Sea Trek Proudly Supports the Gold Rush Adventure Challenge: Dawn to Dusk!
Saturday, September 19, 2026
We're excited to support the paddle leg of this year's Gold Rush Adventure Challenge Dawn to Dusk Race!
Race Details
Sea Trek is proud to support the Gold Rush Adventure Challenge: Dawn to Dusk, a USARA-sanctioned 12-hour adventure race launching from Sausalito on September 19, 2026. We’re supporting the paddling leg meaning Sea Trek will be the base and lending boats and gear to racers as they navigate to Angel Island and back to Sausalito.
The course is designed as a multi discipline adventure (ideally for teams of 2-4 racers) with route choice playing a key role in how your day unfolds. Distances will vary based on navigation decisions and checkpoint selection, but the course will roughly include:
Paddle: ~6 miles (we provide the boats)
Mountain Bike: ~30 miles
Trek / Run: ~14 miles
These disciplines will be broken up throughout the race. Teams should expect to move between activities multiple times, for example:
-
Paddle → Trek → Paddle
-
Bike → Trek → Bike
-
Mixed route combinations depending on strategy
The course is designed so that teams can choose how aggressive or conservative they want to be within the 12 hour time limit.
For the kayaking leg:
- All boats provided — racers can’t bring their own
- Roughly 6 miles across to Angel Island and back
- Wind and current can add some spice!
- Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026
- Time: Dawn to Dusk! (12 hours)
- Location: Sausalito
- Price: $289.75
